The Bornemann House was a project behind Out of the Blue antiques in Downtown Livingston, MT. The client wanted to convert a back storage room into a studio apartment. Our team had a great time from beginning to end on this full remodel, working with Kathryn to bring her vision to life.
Smith House
Case study: Smith House
The Smith family purchased a lovely home on the Yellowstone River in Livingston Montana in 2015. The home was in need of updating and they called us out very early in the brainstorming part of their project. I enjoyed seeing their current kitchen situation and being allowed to think outside the box and beyond their current layout and situation.
The options were endless, they did not want us to feel "stuck" with current window placements, wall placements or door placements so that really helped us give them the kitchen they really wanted.
This client was heavily involved in the design process and we enjoyed her perspective as she is a professional chef and really wanted a functional yet elegant place to work her magic.
About the Project
This kitchen had a 70's style floor plan where their complete kitchen and dining areas were segmented into 3 different walled off spaces. Getting to know the customer and knowing their love of entertaining, we knew quickly those walls had to go and we needed to open up the space.
The style the clients were going for was contemporary, clean and polished. We used white, inset cabinetry with a simple shaker style door to give it clean, flush lines with polished brass hardware. They chose stainless steel appliances and beautiful polished brass fixtures to tie it all together.

Jason Cipriani founded Cipriani Construction with the belief that all building projects require master craftsmanship, reliable management and honest work. He comes from a legacy of expert carpentry, having trained under his father, a professional carpenter in Wallingford, Connecticut, and has been building on his experience since 1994 in both Colorado and Montana. Jason started Cipriani Construction in Livingston, Montana in 2001 and since then has been driven by his desire to not only be successful at life and business, but also to provide unparalleled service to every customer. All staff are professionally trained in the industry's best practices and building codes, and go above and beyond to keep all projects on an efficient timeline and keep an organized job site.
Jason and his wife Krystal have two sons, Jakob and Benjamin, and are rooted deep into the Montana lifestyle as well as the contracting industry — Krystal runs a local cabinetry company, Crazy Mountain Cabinetry. Whether new construction, restoration or remodel, Jason's belief is that attention to the smallest details in all stages are what result in a true masterpiece.
